Horizons and skies
This otherwordly sunshine,
An unknown mythical land
And what others call Greece.
 
No matter how many times you try,
You always cross another,
The path is always short,
The distance always long.
 
Next to the highway
Old buildings, deserted
You turn away your glance
But they are (still) looking at you.
 
Around, (there are) mountains and more mountains
And the sea in the background always
Reminds you from the distance
That you loved her passionately.

Alone you search for the keys
In an old hotel.
 
During your sleep, you are thirsty
And you're awaken by the mirror that is drunk
Quietly telling you:
''You haven't recognized me yet.''

Outside, in the street, is waving
Like a nazist, a drunk
And you're wondering how he's doing,
Which one of you is the stranger.
 
As he walks towards glory,
Wounded as she is, she stumbles,
She never rises from the dead,
Because she never dies (in the first place).
